Happy Friday + Link love

October (October!?) is my favorite fall month and I can't help but get allllll kinds of basic. I just love the vibe of it! The colors, the yummy scents, the food. It just has a special feeling that none of the other months have for me. Though given the weather forecast this weekend, I predict a lot of time spent cuddled up inside. We haven't actually had a rainy weekend in what feels like forever, so I'd be lying if I said I wasn't kind of looking forward to it ;) If you're on the east coast, stay warm, dry and safe!

-All the rain we're getting here has me wanting another pair of Hunter boots. This basic pair has been on my wishlist for a while.

-I'm still loving the windowpane print that's been around for a few seasons now and love this cozy top.

-I'm really into skirts for fall this year (roundup coming next week!) and have my eye on this one, this one and this one.

-After 50 years, Ralph Lauren is stepping down.

-I'm all about chunky sleeveless turtleneck sweaters right now. They're perfect for layering since you don't have to deal with extra fabric in the arms so they're ideal for putting under blazers, your favorite moto jacket, etc. This one and this one are super affordable options!

-It may not seem possible, but we have less than 3 months to wear 2015's color of the year -- which happens to be marsala. This burgundy and gray cape is so cute and the perfect way to put a check mark in a few trend boxes all at once.

-An app that's basically Yelp for humans is coming. And it's creepy.

-Bloomingdale's Friends and Family Sale is on! Get 25% off almost everything!

-It's time to stock up on sweaters and Banana Republic is offering 40% off right now! I picked up this one and this one.

-I know. We talked about this last week. But if you're debating the flare trend, I highly recommend it. I reached the verdict after getting these (if you're petite, buy them!) in the mail this week, but they're also available in non-petite and might be the most amazing things I've ever put on my body. Run, do not walk!

  1. Ah, LOVE that cape! I recently bought my first pair of flares since I was in the single digits! I got the Madewell Fleamarket flare and they're seriously the best!

Enjoy your weekend of snuggles and stay safe during this hurricane warning!
