Fall Five: Leather and suede

As much as I love summer for it's sheer, flowy, and lightweight fabrics, I love fall just as much for its texture. And what better way to add a little of this than with leather and suede pieces?

We wait all summer to wear our leather shorts with tights (let's be honest, leather shorts + scorching temperatures don't exactly mix) and swap out our strappy sandals for the latest and greatest suede booties.

And whether it's a little or a lot, I think leather and suede give just the right amount of edge to whatever look you're going for. A friend was recently telling me about a blazer she bought with suede patches on the elbows and collar - a perfect example!
