The BFF comes to DC

My bff Christina and her boyfriend, Andy, came to visit this past weekend. I hadn't seen her since the wedding (where she was the best maid of honor ever)...mostly because she won't succumb to my peer pressure and move from New Jersey to the DC area. She continues to use her boyfriend and the fact that she's starting grad school in the fall as excuses. Lame-o.

Her visit was more than enough, but she was sweet enough to bring down some belated birthday gifts, including this little number from Francesca's Collections:

We had discovered Francesca's together in college and now it seems to be popping up everywhere! It's such a cute little shop with a boutique feel that has a pretty piece perfect for any occasion - all at reasonable prices. And their jewelry selection is to die for! I always feel like I'm leaving the store with a one-of-a-kind purchase!

Thanks again, best friend, for a great weekend and for enabling my fashion/shopping addiction. I miss you already (and not just because you bring me clothes)!
