As a girl, I feel like it's a must to have a few camisoles in your wardrobe. I'm talking the basic ones you find for $1.90 at Forever 21 and, if you're like me, you own one in white, nude and black. I keep them on hand to wear under open knit sweaters or when a blouse is just a bit too sheer to be work appropriate. But unlike the one I'm wearing today, they're never the focus of an outfit.
This one, though, is meant to be the statement piece. It's a super soft satin with the prettiest eyelash lace trim. And while it might've been confused with lingerie a few short years ago, the lace camisole has totally become mainstream. Tucking it into high waisted jeans or pants and tossing on a blazer makes it totally acceptable for your 9-5. They're also perfect layered under a slouchy longline cardigan or leather jacket for an easy weekend or date night look.
