This is the first time I've worn flats on the blog in I don't know how long. I attribute the switch to my growing obsession with the loafer trend and the shift we're seeing in fashion/street style towards shoes that don't completely destroy your feet. From the white sneaker movement to athleisure to menswear-inspired flats, I am all in favor of ditching the heels and opting for comfort. And not that I or any of you need the fashion world to tell us it's okay to wear something, but I think we can all agree it helps! Though if we're being honest I did almost swap these loafers out for something that gives me the height I desperately need because self conscious. But if you follow me on Instagram you'll see I've been stocking up on flats and low block heels the past few months, so I'm all in!
The loafers I'm wearing here are from H&M but they sold out online almost immediately :( I would definitely check your local store when you get a chance. If you're looking for a similar pair, I really love these. Though they're basically a dupe of this designer pair, which may have to be my next splurge!
