The first half of day two in NYC was pretty relaxed. I didn't have any events until later so we headed to Central Park. Of all the times I've been to the city, I've never actually spent any time there so I was excited to explore a bit. We took Sofia to the zoo and to ride the carousel, which she loved! It's always fun watching her do things for the first time :)
As for this look, it almost didn't make the cut. Of course I had more outfit options with me than I could've worn in the time we were there, but ended up grabbing this top and these jeans last minute. Like, the morning we left! I've had the top in my closet for months but totally forgot about it and then immediately thought of pairing it with my flares, which were also collecting dust. It ended up being the perfect look for everything I had going on that night. Sometimes it's the things you don't plan that end up working out the best, right?
