All about the shoulders

Let me just start by saying you really can't go wrong with any off-the-shoulder top for spring and summer. This style has taken hold and is going to be even bigger this year than it was when it first started emerging over the past few seasons. And I'm totally loving it!

There are what I'd like to call sub-trends, though. Which may or may not be a thing that already exists, but who knows. Trends within a trend, if you will. And when it comes to baring your shoulders, there are definitely some styles that you'll be seeing more of as you stock up on warm weather wardrobe items. They're also some of my favorite styles, so I wanted to share!

Denim
Denim is no longer just for your bottom half, friends. I'm totally loving it in dress form and in pretty, flowy off-the-shoulder blouses. I'm obsessed with the frayed hem on this one! A light blue version will also work, and I plan on snatching up this one for $10.
White lace
The quintessential girly top. These are beautiful and elegant and you can't help but feel pretty when you wear one. Pair them with white jeans and pumps or cut off shorts and sandals for a more laid back vibe.
Cut out
If you're not into baring it all (or don't feel like dealing with a strapless bra), something with cutout shoulders will do the trick. They're also a little more on the conservative side.
Form-fitting
Grab your flares or a button-up skirt and tuck one of these silhouette-hugging tops into it for an easy 70s vibe. I recently bought this one and would highly recommend it!

Do you have a favorite style?
