Tuesday Temptations: Olive

As a redhead with fair skin, you'd think I'd have a closet full of the color that's supposed to be one of the most flattering shades on me. Instead, I'm seriously lacking in the olive green department. And not because I don't love it, but because I almost always opt for black, gray, white or tan over color. Every. Single. Time. Though you could totally argue this is kind of a neutral shade, right? It's definitely versatile and plays well with basically every other color I just mentioned, which my wardrobe is full of.

Anyway, after debating these two dresses (here and here) last Friday, I felt it was time to give this earthy hue the attention it deserves. It doesn't hurt that it's one of this fall's "it" colors! My favorite pieces are the jumpsuit, the flowy blouse and those satin shorts, which I think would look amazing with a lightweight open knit sweater and sandals on a cool summer night!
