Tuesday Temptations: Beach, please

Happy Tuesday, babes! I hope you're all feeling relaxed and refreshed after the long weekend and had a blast kicking off the unofficial start of summer. We had the most gorgeous weather here in the DC area and I've definitely been inspired to start planning some fun weekends away with my little family. Sofia will be walking very, very soon (how is she growing up so fast?) and I can't wait to take her to the beach and watch her toddle around! So in that spirit, I wanted to round up a few of my current beach favorites.

It actually started with this straw tote that I spotted over the weekend. This is one of those pieces you absolutely must see in person because the pictures online just don't do it justice. It's beautifully made and the gold sequins make it look so luxe! (Hint: it's less than $40.) I'm definitely thinking I have to go back for it. And how cute is that cactus beach towel? It's adorable, quirky and involves a Mean Girls reference. Yes, please!

I've also been on the hunt for a super bright caftan/coverup/kimono to toss on over a swimsuit and think this one might be what ends my search. I honestly love this designer version but can't see myself spending the money on it since I won't be wearing it a ton. This is a great alternative and is super affordable. I'd probably even wear it with cutoffs and a tank when I'm not at the beach!
