Let me tell you something

Blogging has afforded me the opportunity to attend some pretty amazing events in and around the D.C. area. But I RSVPed faster than I ever had when I found out Caroline Manzo of Real Housewives of New Jersey fame was going to be in town signing copies of her new book, Let Me Tell You Something.

As many of you know, I was born and raised in the Pennsylvania/New Jersey area, so out of all the locations Housewives is filmed, Jersey is my favorite (we can talk about you judging me for this at a later date). What you may not know is that I've watched every season of RHONJ religiously and, if I'm not home on a Sunday night (which is rare), I have my DVR set to make sure I don't miss an episode. And even though the cast has changed, Caroline has always been a favorite. So there was no way I was going to pass up the opportunity to meet her!

She was exactly what you'd expect her to be in person: super sweet, gracious and -- even though she doesn't know it yet -- we're basically new best friends. Oh, and the pictures above are of what I wore. Because that's what you're here to see, right? ;)
