Get nude

After completely wearing out my nude peep-toe pumps last summer, I'd been scouring shoe rack after shoe rack for the perfect replacement pair.

Fortunately, neutral shoes - from pearly pales to rich cocoas - are shaping up to be one of this summer's must-have wardrobe staples. So when I stumbled upon these patent leather platform pumps by Guess, I knew it was a match made in nude shoe heaven.

The natural color blends flawlessly with my skin tone and the height is perfect (not to mention how the color itself helps to elongate your legs). They're also surprisingly comfortable, which is a seriously noteworthy accomplishment for any shoe with a heel that flirts with the 5 inch threshold. And their au naturel hue allows them to seamlessly blend with almost any outfit - making them a great alternative to basic black.
