It's been the weirdest "winter" so far this year in D.C. It's only dipped down to frigid temps a few times and we've barely had a dusting of snow. Not that I'm complaining, because this time last year we were digging out from under 3 feet (please don't get any ideas, Mother Nature). And while part of me is hoping we do get some more before spring, I'm not mad that I've been getting a lot more wear out of my transitional pieces, like this faux leather jacket. The amount of 50-something degree days we've had have been the perfect opportunity to layer cozy sweaters and tops under this and still be warm. And even though it's faux leather, the material is pretty thick and has a surprisingly good weight to it. I hate being cold and almost always opt for a heavier coat than I actually need (grandma status), so you know it has to be warm for me to wear it and be comfortable!
It's also on sale right now for just under $60 -- which is amazing. It's seriously the best faux leather jacket I've ever purchased. So much so that I recently donated three others that I had bought in the past few years that just didn't do the trick. It's officially my one and only!
Happy Tuesday!
