A few weeks ago we talked about how velvet is one of my absolute favorite trends right now. It always pops up around this time of year because of the holidays, but even more so now that it's a must-have for the season. I just love the luxe texture and rich tones and how it can elevate an otherwise basic piece. I've actually been wanting a velvet blazer for a while and couldn't resist this navy blue one. I immediately fell in love with the color and the tuxedo style lapel is such a fun little detail. I already have plans to wear it to a few upcoming events with different pieces from my closet because it's so versatile. And since Thanksgiving is on Thursday (yassss), I figured now was a good time to share it so you can snag one for all your upcoming parties!

On another note, who's excited for a short week and to officially kick off the holiday season? I try to not skip over Thanksgiving and go directly into Christmas mode, but this year it's been hard! Having a little one who's just starting to discover everything is so fun and it's definitely got me into the spirit early. We taught her a few Christmas songs and it might be the cutest thing ever!
