The last time peasant tops were a thing, I was in high school. Except from what I recall, it wasn't necessarily a good thing. In fact, I distinctly remember sitting with my friends at our lunch table trying to explain how the top I was wearing that day wasn't technically a peasant top. Spoiler alert: it totally was. But at that time anything other than three layered polo shirts with all of the collars popped was considered "uncool" so I clearly had some lessons to learn about fashion.

Fast forward many, many years and this boho style is once again front and center for summer. And this time -- far removed from those awkward teenage years -- I'm totally comfortable rocking it. I did have a flashback or two when ordering this top, but there's this thing about being 30 that makes you care a whole lot less what others think ;) From the breezy fabric to the unique detailing and embroidery, it's quickly become a summer favorite and I'm happy to report I have zero regrets about purchasing it. I knew it would look cute with white jeans (my favorites are on major sale, btw!) but I also think it'll look great with denim cutoffs or even as a coverup at the beach!
