By day 3 of NYFW, I was over it. Not fashion week itself, just the ridiculously cold weather combined with the temptation to wear something that put me at risk for frostbite in case a street style photog deemed my ensemble worthy of a photo. When faced with similar situations in the past, I've often opted for the not so practical option. But -10 degree wind chills really don't GAF if you look cute and I decided that warmth and comfort won out. I opted for the heaviest sweater I had packed (with some layers underneath) and my down parka, which was only supposed to be for non-fashion related things -- like the glamorous bus ride. And let me tell you, I was still cold. Not as cold as the girl I saw at one of the shows who was coat-less, wearing only a blazer and sports bra though.
And then I left a day early than I had planned because it was too cold and I missed my husband and baby. The end ;)
