Guys can be so difficult to shop for sometimes. Which is ironic because they mostly stick to simple things. The necessities. Fortunately, my husband is pretty good about letting me know what he wants -- aka everything in this post -- and his picks are mostly universal for your typical dude. For one, they almost always need new dress shirts. After bouncing around from brand to brand, Vincent has decided he's really into the cut (the extra slim fit is where it's at) and quality of Brooks Brothers. You can almost always find them on sale, so don't let the price scare you off.
There are other standard manly things as well, like scotch glasses, a new wallet (I think guys are in constant need of a new one) and something techy like a good camera or a wireless speaker system. But there are also not-so-standard requests. Like a meat thermometer. Two words I never thought I'd type here. Can't say I relate to the desire to own this, but if your man/any guy in your life is into cooking or grilling, then this is the gift. Or so I've been told ;)
If you have any other good gift ideas for guys, please share!
Oh yes, I have such a hard time buying for guys, but this is a great list!
