Sequins are a quintessential holiday staple. And while I love how they immediately up the glitz factor, sometimes it's fun to go for a more understated, laid back vibe. (Is that possible when wearing sequined pants? I don't even know, but I'm running with it.) I was originally going to dress these babies up, but decided that I really love the idea of a cozy glam holiday look. By pairing these statement leggings with a slouchy sweater, they immediately become more casual and would be perfect for an informal gathering. Not to say you can't throw on a fancy blouse, a bold lip and rock them at your office party -- which makes me appreciate their new home in my closet even more.
This particular pair is from H&M, which also has a ton of other gorgeous pieces for all your holiday soiree needs. It was a real toss up between what I chose, this beaded dress and this faux fur jacket. So if you still have nothing to wear for your man's company party, they've got you covered. And before you check out, be sure to snag some of these gift tags. First of all, you know you forget to buy them every year so do yourself a favor and grab a handful. Second, as part of the H&M Conscious Foundation efforts, for every sale, double the amount will be donated to CARE, a global organization working to fight poverty by empowering women via business opportunities. You can read more about their efforts to provide women in the poorest communities with the tools and knowledge to grow or start their own businesses here. And don't forget to pick up some of the tags while shopping in store or online!
Have a fab weekend!
