I've been shopping at Target for a good portion of my existence (haven't we all?), but I honestly can't remember a time when I was more impressed with their fashion than I have been this fall. It's actually taken me by complete surprise. Every time someone compliments this bag, for example, I get a little giddy and can't help but blurt out, "It's from Target!" The reaction is always the same -- one of shock and awe, in a totally good way -- but it never gets old. Maybe it's because a designer item is, by nature, set up to be compliment-worthy. But finding something relatable and, for most people, attainable is what really makes my sartorial heart happy. I mean, what's better than finding out those shoes you just ogled are not only in your budget, but you won't have to sacrifice your groceries for the week to pay for them? (Okay, there are better things, but you catch my drift.)
And it's not just the price point. It's the fact that some of these pieces are perfectly on-trend. That crop top could easily be from Alexander Wang's latest collection. But nope, Target. Pair it with the high waisted jeans or midi skirt you already have in your closet and you're set for a date, happy hour or girls night out. And do I even had to mention those blue suede over the knee boots? They're $60, they're gorgeous, and you'll wear them over and over. Especially since that style is one of the must-have looks for fall and winter.
If you've snagged something amazing lately -- whether from Target or elsewhere -- please share!

Alison
P.S. This is not a sponsored post. I just really love sharing my favorite affordable and on-trend finds with you, and Target happens to be killing it right now!
