A major closet purge took place this past weekend. The end result was five bags of donated clothing, one trip to Buffalo Exchange and a pile that's waiting to be Poshmarked. I love the extra room, but it doesn't take long for that feeling to creep up. You know the one I'm talking about. It's the little voice in your head convincing you that having space between your hangers isn't all it's cracked up to be. And suddenly, you're planning your next trip to Nordstrom.
For me, I was glad to be able to take stock of what I have and what I feel like I need to add to my wardrobe. In terms of basics that are able to be worn for multiple seasons, these over the knee boots are at the top of my list. They're also a dead ringer for the Stuart Weitzmans I've been eyeing since last year, but for like, $500 less. Umm yes please.
And speaking of the look for less, I yammered on and on about the Target bag from this post. Welp, I think this one might actually top it. I love the matte black alligator print and the Céline-esque shape. I promise, no one will believe you when you tell them it's from Target!
Other things on my list are a pair of faux leather pants. Not to be confused with faux leather leggings, which I also love. But I feel like I need options, you know? Especially for those cold winter days when thin leggings just won't cut it. And since I've been so thrifty with all these other finds, I can treat myself to the perfect nude lip or a super soft flannel, right? ;)
