Tuesday Temptations: Destroyed

Buying denim has always been the biggest sartorial challenge for me because of my height. If they fit in the waist, they have an inseam made for someone who's a foot taller. And if the length is right, it's likely that they're kids jeans and they don't even have a chance of fitting over my hips. It's an ongoing battle, and I've had some major FOMO about the bottom half of my wardrobe over the years.

Ironically, that's setting in even more so now. I can't tell you how many pairs of pants/jeans I've wanted to snag over the course of the last few months. They say you always want what you can't have, and I suppose it's because I know that unless said jeans have an elastic waistband they're not even an option for at least a little while longer. Take every pair of these distressed jeans, for example. I've been obsessing over them for months and they've definitely made a comeback for spring and summer. I've seen some great options at Forever 21 and love this pair by D-ID. They're definitely at the top of my post-baby wardrobe wish list!

Oh, and I'm not even going to lie to you guys. I have the worst cold right now and gathering the energy to put this simple post together was a sheer test of will. Being sick is bad enough, but being sick when you're 34 weeks pregnant is even more les mis. I can't take meds and the entire process seems to last about three times longer than usual. Long story short, excuse the lack of a pretty collage today ;)
