30 week bump update!
I've seen this cute little questionnaire on other blogs and thought it'd be fun to fill it out myself to give you an update on how things are going!
How far along? I've officially hit the 30 week mark (7 months), which means I'm 3/4 of the way there! Time is flying!
Gender? It's a girl! Click here for my gender reveal in case you missed it.
Weight gain? As of last week, I was up 14 pounds from my starting weight. I'm measuring right on track, but haven't gained a ton even though I eat constantly and my belly is definitely growing by the day!
Maternity clothes? I've mentioned before that I basically live in my faux leather leggings and anything with stretchy waistbands. I'm also a huge fan of the hair tie trick that I use on some of my favorite pairs of pants that still fit but won't zip up. Though I did order some maternity pieces for a fun collab that I have coming up…so stay tuned!
Stretch marks? Thankfully, no! (At least not yet.) I've been slathering on Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion every morning since pretty much the first day I found out I was pregnant, so I think that's definitely helping.
Movement? Oh mah goodness, this kid is playing my ribs like a xylophone! She's quite the squirmer and is constantly on the move. I'm also really surprised at how strong something so little can be!
Sleep? Most nights, I sleep like a baby! I've always been a pretty sound sleeper and fortunately that hasn't changed too much. I'm definitely cherishing that now, however, since once she's here I doubt I'll be getting much. BumpNest was also kind enough to send me their pregnancy pillow, which is life-changing! It's so soft and cozy! My husband is a pretty big fan as well, so I have a feeling it'll be sticking around even after I have the baby haha.
Food cravings/aversions? I really haven't had a ton of strange cravings, but definitely went through a tomato soup phase! I probably tried every single brand I could find in the grocery store and still eat it for lunch a few days a a week. My all-time favorite is from Panera! I've also been a huge fan of anything citrus -- especially grapefruits and oranges! As for aversions, I'm lucky that nothing has completely grossed me out. But I have been preferring tea over coffee (decaf, of course!) in the mornings ever since the beginning.
Wedding rings on or off? Fortunately, my hands and feet haven't swelled up and I'm really hoping they won't…so for now, they're still on!
Other strange symptoms? Acid reflux during pregnancy is no joke. I've only ever had heartburn on very rare occasions, but now it's pretty constant and it. is. awful. Literally like my soul is on fire. Needless to say, I'm an official Tums toter.
xoxo,
Alison

I can't believe you've only gained 14 lbs - lucky lady! I gained 60 with each of my pregnancies and it is SO hard to get rid of. I can completely relate about the acid reflux - the worst! :(
