Remember the "You can't sit with us!" scene from Mean Girls after Regina George laments that "sweatpants are all that fit me right now"? (If you don't know what I'm talking about, see here.) Well, swap out sweatpants for faux leather leggings and you basically sum up my current sartorial situation. I don't quite need maternity jeans yet (though I did try a pair on and it was a nightmare) but wearing my pre-preggo skinnies isn't really an option unless they're completely unbuttoned -- which has happened.
I've literally been wearing my faux leather leggings almost every day. Not that I'm really complaining because I can style them in so many ways and they're one of my favorite wardrobe staples. Plus, they're super comfy. But I just figured I'd give you fair warning in case you start wondering if I actually own any other pants (I do). In the meantime, I'll be waiting impatiently for spring and a world of dresses without tights.

Love the mean girls reference! And it's been so cold lately that anything besides a snow suit is looking good in my book.

Um, your hair looks amazing in all of these pictures. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love how the leggings look with your kicks! Wondering if you've heard of Bella Bands? They let you wear regular pants while pregnant. Just an idea!
ReplyDeleteLove Mean Girls!!! You look great, love your hair with your beanie, so cute! I'm also loving your bag, perfect size. I totally remember the in-between normal jeans and maternity jean phase. You're right, leggins are perfect!
