Tuesday Temptations: Sunshine

Now that summer is almost here, I've been trying to soak up as much of the sunshine as I can. I love the warm weather and wish I could bottle it up for those frigid winter months when you're so cold you don't think you'll ever thaw out. Or when your once climate-controlled office suddenly turns into a freezer during June, July and August.

I guess this has also made its way into my latest wardrobe wants, because I can't seem to get enough yellow in my life and closet! Which is funny because it was never a shade I was naturally inclined to like (I think it goes back to that whole ketchup and mustard thing...with my red hair and all). But lately it's my sartorial way of hoarding sunshine, if you will. And don't you just feel better when you're wearing such a bright, cheery color like yellow?

I think my favorite pieces here are the accessories, especially since black and white ensembles are so popular right now. I'd add that necklace or those earrings to a monochromatic look for a pop of color in a heartbeat! I'm also kind of obsessed with the clear bow flats...and they're on sale!
