Confession: I haven't been to the beach -- I mean really been to the beach -- in over two years. Sure I dipped my toes in the ocean briefly when I visited California (and it was freezing), but when it comes to laying in the sand under the blazing sun for hours at a time...well, that hasn't happened in far too long. Embarrassing, I know. I mean, who am I?! But this year I'm determined to make my triumphant return and I plan to do it in style. And by "in style" I mean with a cute beach bag!

I've always just tossed all of my beach essentials in any old tote bag I had lying around. Does it do the trick? Of course! But with so many cute and affordable options out there, there's really no excuse to be using the same bag in which I carry my groceries. The same goes for cover-ups. My high school cheerleading shorts and a tank top are no longer acceptable. But that's a post for another day!

And please don't ask me to choose a favorite among these bags because it's impossible. Nautical, classic, trendy, and colorful - there's something for every taste. I clearly need them all because who knows what kind of vibe I'll be feeling on any given day ;)
