I know the weather is just starting to heat up and the last thing you want to think about is animal prints. At least that's how I feel since I tend to equate leopard, zebra and the like with fall. But let me tell you, these python and snake print purses are h-a-w-t and absolutely perfect for summer (especially the neon yellow one by Rachel Roy)! And in this case, I'm definitely practicing what I preach! I'd practice it even more if I could splurge on that Z Spoke Zac Posen satchel. With an all white summer outfit? I mean...

Speaking of summer, some people mark its unofficial start with Memorial Day weekend. I've always gone by my birthday, which happens to be Sunday...eeeeek! I'm so happy that we'll be in Pennsylvania this year and that I get to spend it with my family. I'm noticing that as I get older, I want less and less to go out and celebrate like I'm turning 21 again (though I do love a good dance party) and prefer a quieter shindig with my favorite people and things. It's like adulthood is slowly creeping in or something!

Adults still get ice cream cake, though, right?
