Dress: Old, similar, Heels: Rebecca Minkoff (love these), Clutch: ASOS (similar), Sunglasses: Chanel, Earrings: c/o Blue Nile
A little over a week ago, the husband and I jumped on an afternoon flight to Florida for a family wedding. It was in the middle of the week and a semi last minute decision (kinda proud of myself for being somewhat spontaneous) but I'm so glad we got to get away - even if it was for less than 48 hours!
The wedding was on the more casual side, so I opted for this one shouldered red dress (hmm...I'm seeing a pattern) and a favorite pair of nude sandals. It was also the perfect opportunity to take these pretty earrings from Blue Nile for a spin! I normally stick to studs, but these are just so dainty and elegant. And because I heart you all and am so appreciative that you continue to read day after day, I'm giving a pair away!
There have been a lot of giveaways lately so I want to keep this one super simple! To enter, just leave a comment below telling me how you'd style the earrings. That's it!
The giveaway is open to U.S. residents only and ends on Thursday, May 23 at 11:59 p.m.
Good luck!
XO,
Alison
You look so lovely in that dress girl. I think I would wear these earrings with a colorful silk blouse and a pair of skinny jeans.
ReplyDeleteI would wear those with a plain t-shirt and my hair up to really show them off, and keep the other jewelry minimal.
ReplyDeleteThis dress looks amazing on you - love it!

Those earrings are great! I'd style them with a pair of skinny jeans, heels, and a flowy top, but I'm sure they'd look great with most outfits!

I love your dress!! I'd wear the earrings to my Senior prom! My prom dress is coral and I think it'd look really good with the earrings!

The earrings give me a sort of hippie-esque feeling, so I'd go with the summer festival look to pair with them. Printed cutoff shorts, solid white tee, fringe bag and those earring= perfect combo!

At first I thought you took the dress you wore to Lacey's wedding and shortened it! Haha! One shoulder looks great on you. I wish my ears were pierced so I could try to win those beautiful earrings! :)

Pretty earrings! I'm getting married in September, so I'd wear them to a bridal shower!!

Something that dainty needs a casual element to balance it out. I'd wear those with with a loose, jersey-knit top with cuffed denim cut-offs and my hair in a messy, braided bun. For accessories, I'd keep it simple to let the earrings pop: camel flats and a plain, pop-of-color leather tote.
ReplyDeleteOn a side note, I think we have the same hair-do, and those earrings look quite charming with your sleek and straight look. I bet they'd look cheeky peeking out beneath loose layers that fell out of an updo!

I love that dress - the earrings go with it perfectly!
ReplyDeleteIf I were to win the earrings, I'd wear it to a wedding rehearsal I have coming up in a few weeks - they'd go perfectly with the floral dress I picked out for the occasion! :)

ReplyDeleteLovely outfit! I'd wear the earrings for a night out to dinner with the girls with black skinny jeans, a flowy colored top, and my peep toe wedges. Thanks!

I would wear these earrings with a more casual outfit to dress it up. I would wear jean cutoffs, a t-shirt material tank, messy top knot and gladiator sandals. They are a prefect transition piece.
