Tuesday Temptations: Polka dots

I've always had somewhat of a love-hate relationship with polka dots. It might have something to do with the fact that I have an ongoing "thing" for stripes. But lately I find myself being drawn to them more and more and I'm excited to introduce some cute dotted pieces into my wardrobe for spring. And if I'm going to start anywhere, it has to be at Target (le duh)!

They have such an adorable selection of polka dot pieces right now. I mean, those mint polka dot skinnies? Prettttyyyyyy sure I need them in my life. And I could totally see myself rocking that black and white dress. Not only is black and white huge for spring, but it makes it so easy to add a pop of color. I love the idea of a yellow cardigan or even the bright blue blazer I wore yesterday.

So, yes, even though I love stripes, I suppose there's room in my heart/wardrobe for dots. Maybe I'll even be brave enough to pattern mix and wear them together!
