Tuesday Temptations: Lace

In yesterday's outfit post I shared that I had teamed up with Target to create a series of posts that showcase some of Spring 2013's hottest trends. So today, we happen to be talking about one of my favorite fabrics...lace!

I've always been drawn to lace and lace detailing. (Slightly random/fun fact: My wedding gown was lace!) It's classic, elegant and adds the perfect touch of femininity to any outfit. And I love that it can be worn in so many ways. The sunshine-y lace dress above (and also this one!) is perfect for a super girly look, which is ideal for springtime and Easter. It's also fun to juxtapose these sweet pieces with something a bit edgier. I mean, how amazing would that skirt look with a (faux) leather biker jacket and booties? If that's not the perfect transitional outfit, I don't know what is!

And let's not forget about accessories! It's easy to incorporate this trend into your spring looks with something like the neon clutch from the Prabal Gurung for Target collection (it would go great with my blouse, don't you think?) or the iPhone case.
