Tuesday Temptations: Brace yourself

Tuesday Temptations: Bracelets

Row one: 1, 2, 3 // Row two: 1, 2, 3
Row three: 1, 2, 3 // Row four: 1, 2, 3

Tomorrow will mark two weeks since I gave up buying shoes and clothes for Lent. Which means I only have four weeks and three days left before Easter. Not that I'm counting or anything. So far, I'm faring better than I thought I would! I may even be a little proud of myself. So instead of torturing myself by browsing for things to share here that I can't actually buy right now, I thought I'd focus on something I can - jewelry! Specifically, bracelets and bangles.

When it comes to accessorizing, bracelets are my go-to. They're by far the easiest thing for me to work into my outfit on a daily basis and I usually prefer a few pieces paired with my watch rather than a giant arm party (is anyone else kind of over them?). I definitely like mixing and matching, though, so I tend to stick to thinner pieces that still create a textured, layered look but don't take up too much of my wrist. Otherwise they end up piled in the corner of my desk by the time I'm done with my morning coffee.

What's your arm candy style? Do you like to pile on or keep your stack simple?

XO, Alison

  1. I used to wear arm parties every single day, but I have been going back & forth lately between wearing a big stack and wearing just a single cuff. LOVE that J. Crew factory crystal one in the 2nd row :)

  2. I'd like one of each, please!! Great picks!

  3. Oh wow good for you! My sister told me I should have given up shopping for Lent. I gave up sweets (which has been SO hard). I love all of these bracelets. Great picks!

  4. I am such a fool for anything Alex & Ani. They're always stacked on my wrists :)

  5. 2 weeks! You go girl! I'm really loving those bangles from ASOS in the third row.

  6. One of each please! I totally pile them on! : )
