Blazer: YesStyle.com (very similar and a great price!), Shirt: Target (similar), Pants: Gap (similar), Heels: Nine West, Purse: c/o Angela + Roi, Sunglasses: Ray-Ban, Bracelet: J.Crew, Necklace: TJ Maxx (love this one), Watch: Michael Kors

I have to give a nod to the lovely Crystalin for inspiring today's outfit. While browsing Pinterest/trying to figure out what to wear to work, I came across her pin and this post and knew immediately I had to recreate it! I swapped out distressed jeans for my favorite pair of skinny black pants, the leopard booties for pointy-toe pumps and added a little bit of bling and my cognac Angela + Roi bag to complete the color scheme.

In her original post she talks about reworking pieces she already has, which is exactly what my goal is during Lent when I'm not purchasing new items. This blazer and denim shirt have proven to be so versatile on their own, so why not combine them? I also love the idea of pairing a crisp blazer with a more laid back top for a little bit of juxtaposition. Don't you?

XO,
Alison

P.S. Be sure to check out Angela + Roi's new handbag line! They're also donating $5 of each sale to a different non-profit based on the bag's color. Red, for example, is commonly associated with AIDS. So with the sale of a red bag, $5 is donated to AIDS research. How cool is that?! You can check out all their causes and see the corresponding bags here.
