Tuesday Temptations: Emerald - Pantone's 2013 Color of the Year

I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am that Pantone has named emerald the color of 2013. I've loved it for so many reasons throughout the years: it's romantic, rich and my Irish roots make me naturally drawn towards it. This green hue is also one of the most flattering colors I can wear as a fair-skinned redhead (I think that's part of the whole being Irish thing). I definitely don't wear it as often as I should, however, and am determined to change that this year! Fortunately, we're sure to be seeing this jewel-toned hue everywhere for the next 12 months and I can't wait to introduce new pieces to my wardrobe, beauty routine and as pops of color here and there in my home. Or I could just buy that Chloé bag (**drool**) and try to convince Pantone to keep emerald for the next three years, because that's how long it would take me to afford it ;)
