Home office inspiration

I'm always so inspired at the beginning of a new year. It's the perfect opportunity to make the changes you've been talking about forever and what better time to start?

One of my goals this year is to focus on the little details of styling our apartment - especially the areas that need some help! One area of our space that's been neglected is the desk area. When we first moved in, it looked like a small command center with my husband's dual screen setup and various other gadgets. Since then, I've managed to talk him down to just one screen, allowing more space for the desk to actually be functional. But as with anything, I'd prefer it to be stylish, though not too girly since it's a space we both share (aka I won't be tossing out our rolly computer chair for a ghost chair anytime soon - le sigh). Of course, I turned to Pinterest for inspiration.

I love that all of these desks are simple and beautiful yet functional. I'm definitely about minimizing clutter, but I don't mind having things on display that are useful - especially if they're cute! In addition to my inspiration, below are some pieces I'd love to add to my home office. I think it's safe to say I have a type :)
