Gala ready

On Saturday night, Lacey, Meaghan and I had the opportunity to be the "Best Dressed" judges at the Fourth Annual District Gala. The event was a fundraiser for Horton's Kids, a local charity that focuses on bettering the lives of children in Ward 8. Fancy dresses, champagne and a night of dancing all for a good cause? How could I say no!?

I knew I wanted my outfit to have some sparkle ('tis season, after all!) but still be comfortable, so this Scala dress from DressEmpire.com was a no-brainer! I love how it's a bit drapey and loose, which came in handy for dancing with an inflatable guitar and helping lead the Cupid Shuffle the night away. (I can't confirm or deny that either of those things happened.)
