After I saw this outfit on Olivia Palermo recently (can I please have her entire closet?), it reminded me of this skirt hanging in the depths of my closet. I can't believe I didn't remember it sooner since its deep burgundy color is one of the colors I'm craving most for fall (see also: oxblood).

Also, I must have a thing for buttoned up denim lately (evidence here). I'm usually in favor of a more casual look and leaving my blouses open at the top, but buttoning up gives any shirt a whole new vibe. It also transforms it into a blank canvas, perfect for adding a statement necklace.
