Sequin blazer: BCBG (love this one for fall), Dress: Alice + Olivia (via the Gilt City Warehouse Sale), Heels: Boutique 9 (very similar), Purse: c/o Francesca's Collections, Bracelets: Forever 21 and Banana Republic Watch: Michael Kors
When I found this dress at the Gilt City Warehouse Sale I snatched it up without thinking twice. Since then I've gotten quite a bit of use out of it: two weddings and the Washingtonian Style Setters party last Thursday. I'm always hesitant to pair red and yellow since it reminds me a bit of ketchup and mustard (not sure why I think this is a bad combo), but I just feel like it works with this dress.
On a side note, the majority of my traveling is done for at least a few months and I couldn't be happier to be back on a normal schedule! For the first time in what feels like forever I don't have anything on my calendar in the evening this week and I definitely don't hate it. And now that fall has completely snuck up on me, I'm hoping to find the time to enjoy it!
I hope you all had a great weekend!
XO,
Alison

Amen to the having nothing on the calendar! I feel like I haven't gone home after work in a month, and this week I get to almost every night!
ReplyDeleteLove the dress! It is gorgeous, and the sequins are a fun addition.
Love this bright look! That dress looks amazing with the jacket! xo

We def saw each other! Or at least I think we did. It was for like 5 seconds at the BNO party and there were cocktails involved...which could explain why both our memories are a little hazy ;) But yes, def let me know next time you're in DC! XO
