Outfit post: Patterned vintage

Faux fur vest: Macy's (similar), Blouse: Thrifed, Jeans: James Jeans, Booties: Candie's via Kohl's, Purse: Thrifted (similar), Cuff: Loehmann's (similar), Bangle: Fornash, Leather bracelet: H&M, Watch: Vernier via Loehmann's

I wore this outfit for a casual date night with the husband over the weekend and, I have to say, it really is the epitome of what I consider to be "my style." Casual and comfortable yet fun and chic. It also serves as a reminder for two things:

1.) I need to go thrifting more. I scored this gorgeous, flowy blouse from DC Goodwill via the CapFABB meet up last week and it reminded me of how many amazing articles of clothing are out there waiting for someone to pick them up and style new life into them!

2.) I can't get enough of this fur vest. It's basically become a staple of my weekend wardrobe (see evidence here). Which is kind of funny seeing as, just a few short months ago, I was on the fence about faux fur. I'm happy to say we've moved past that. I told you this was a journey!

Happy Wednesday!

  2. Cute wedges! And yeah, thrifting is the best. Haven't done so in a while, myself.
