Introducing: Things IC in DC

Today, I'm excited to share what I've decided to start as a (hopefully) regular feature on my humble little blog about the people, places and things that can be found in our Nation's Capital on a daily basis. This city is a treasure trove of inspiring, odd, unbelievable and completely awesome things. And when it comes to people watching, it's like hitting the sartorial jackpot!

Some days, everyone and everything I come across seems completely normal. (Boring.) And then there are the days where I either can't get my iPhone out fast enough to snap a picture or simply never put it away. This is what I plan on sharing.

Not everything will be fashion-related because, let's face it, there are way too many weird things that beg for an audience. But I promise to do my best to keep it interesting. So without further adieu...

I don't know who this girl is, but I want to be her friend.

Where to begin? The pink helmet. The adorable, summery floral print dress with a cut-out back. Her neutral sandals because, obviously, she's not going to drive her bright yellow scooter (!!!!) in heels. Duh.

Can't you just feel her confidence? Ah-mazing!
