Hi loves! Happy to be back to regularly scheduled programming after a crazy two (three?) weeks. A bit of a life update for you -- First, our little Sofia had surgery recently to correct a blockage that was causing her kidney to not drain properly. Fortunately, it's fairly common and fixable and the surgery was minimally invasive, but she still had to be put out and spend a night in the hospital. Needless to say, this mama was pretty stressed and anxious and when I get that way I tend to hide a little, so sorry about that! She's doing great, though, and was back to her normal self within a few days. She still has a stent in which will be removed next month and we have to go back for a few periodic ultrasounds to make sure the surgery worked the way it should've, but we're really hoping to be able to put this whole thing behind us very soon!

Add that to all the election madness earlier this week and it just made focusing on anything else impossible. But don't worry, I have no plans of getting political on here so I hope you'll consider this a little break from what's been a very opinionated (to say the least haha) few days.

Anyway! Just wanted to share a simple look from last week and also warn you to get used to seeing this belt a lot. It was a total splurge, but I'm pretty sure I've worn it every day since it arrived. It was also super hard to track down so I think the thrill of the hunt made me love it even more ;) I'm actually loving any kind of statement belt right now so I've rounded up some more below. I also bought this sweater on a whim and have worn it so much! It had sold out completely but was just recently restocked and I've seen sizes popping up here and there, so check back often if you want it.
