-The Nordstrom clearance event is happening right now and it might as well be the Anniversary Sale all over again! Which makes reining in spending in preparation for Christmas that much more difficult. Especially when the black booties that have been on my wish list for months are 33% off and there's a lace DVF pencil skirt for under $100! More of my picks from the sale are below:

-Have you seen the Bye Felipe Instagram account? If not, get ready to kiss your Friday morning productivity goodbye. While I'm totally disturbed that human beings behave this way, this girl deserves major props for calling these dudes out.

-When you don't realize how badly you need a pair of sage green suede cutout booties in your life until you find out something like that actually exists. Diez.

-The fall Gilt City Warehouse Sale is next weekend (November 14 + 15) here in D.C.! I just love this event and always go home with something. (In the spring, it was a KitchenAid mixer and a suede jacket -- quite possibly the best/most random combo ever.) Tickets are still available here!

-Kind of loving the idea of a matte mani right now.

 -Can you imagine a world where J. Crew exists solely as a catalog? It used to. Plus, nine other things you never knew about your favorite clothing stores.
