Vacation sandals

Vacation Sandals

Spring has officially sprung (on the calendar, anyway)! Which means you've obviously started thinking about summer vacation plans. Or maybe you've already made some...in which case I'm totally jealous. But even if you haven't booked your flight to that tropical paradise yet, it's never too early to start planning your warm weather footwear.

I never leave Target without perusing the shoe section. And from the looks of it, it's clear that I'll be making my way there to prepare for pedicure season. Any of these would be perfect for a day at the beach or pool - either at a fancy resort on an island in the Caribbean (dreams!) or your friend's backyard. Or for D.C. dwellers, by pool I mean the Donovan House rooftop.

And of course I had to throw some heels in there! A pair of comfy wedges or thick-heeled sandals are perfect for pairing with your maxi dress for dining al fresco and sipping margaritas on those warm nights - otherwise known as my favorite thing ever.

Have you started sandal shopping yet? Maybe if we all buy a pair we can convince Mother Nature that we're ready for temperatures higher than 50 degrees!

XO,
Alison

  1. All I want to do is shop and wear spring clothes (sandals and skirts please) but mother nature is not cooperating! I want that last pair of wedges.

  6. I actually tried on a pair of those shoes in the top left on Sunday. They are too cute. I convinced myself not to buy them to save money but they were really comfortable. I may have to go back and snag them!
