T-shirt: Old Navy, Skirt: RACHEL by Rachel Roy, Jacket: Forever 21, Heels: Guess, Purse: Zara, Sunglasses: Ray-Ban, Cuff: Kohl's (similar), Bracelets: Macy's (similar) and Banana Republic, Watch: Michael Kors

When I first spotted this skirt at Macy's, I knew it would be perfect for Fashion Week. I wasn't sure when or where I'd wear it, but it had to come with me. I actually actually planned to wear it with the pink DVF blouse I scored at the Gilt City warehouse sale (seen here), but ended up keeping it simple with a t-shirt and a leather jacket - which was perfect for the ridiculously hot and humid weather in NYC. I tried to stick it out with the jacket for as long as I could, but there's a reason it's tossed over my shoulders in these pictures ;)

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

XO,
Alison

P.S. This is the last outfit post from my time in New York. In case you missed it, click here and here to see what I wore to the IFB conference, here for my FNO outfit, and here for my first day in the tents!

  5. I love this skirt, and you made it look exactly right by pairing it with a simple tee. Keeps it nice for daytime, but you still stand out because of the sequins.
