Guest post: Leather details with Style Cusp

While I take a little break from blogging during my week of vacation, I've rounded up posts from some of my absolute favorite bloggers to help get you ready for fall!

Today, Marissa from Style Cusp is dishing on one of fall's hottest trends: leather! Check out her post below and be sure to visit Style Cusp to see how she styles the latest looks!

Hello all! I'm so excited to be guest posting on Chain Strap Purse today for Alison about one of my favorite trends for fall: leather. Anyone else as obsessed as I am? We're spotting leather in and on everything - from t-shirts, to skirts, leggings, and jackets. I just can't get enough!

Wearing leather isn't as complicated as it might sound, either. This leather peplum top is perfect for summer to fall transitioning, not to mention you're nailing two trends with one top! Pair it with a clean cut printed trouser and some cute booties for a chic, clean look. I also love a good statement handbag. The 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli satchel has been popping up all over the blogosphere and is perfect for toting around a lightweight jacket, your iPad, and any other important necessities. And don't forget to add a little sparkle candy to your outfit. I hardly ever leave the house without some sort of bling, whether it's my favorite watch, necklace, or a killer arm party!

  1. Already ordered this top and now just have to patiently wait for it to be shipped since it's on backorder. For those who don't want to wait, tthere is an identical version on Urban Outfitters' site! :)
