I can distinctly remember one of the first pairs of sunglasses I got as a kid that I felt "cool" in. They had round, kelly green lenses and were set in a cheap black metal frame. Think John Lennon, only with a bowl cut, in overalls and so not hip at all. (Though it was around the time the Spice Girls were popular, so I was probably throwing up the peace sign left and right.) I'm pretty sure they were about $7 and I begged my mom to buy them for me. For whatever reason, she agreed
When I stumbled across them a few years ago, I couldn't help but laugh because it was around that time my obsession with sunglasses started.
Fortunately, my style has matured since then, and I'm happy to say I've since built a small collection of more flattering sunglasses that won't allow me to be mistaken for one of The Beatles. I would happily wear any of the pairs above, as they're perfect for summer and the warm weather that's headed our way.
