Dipped in confetti

I've always aired on the side of simple when it comes to my nails. Until recently. And when I brought home Deborah Lippmann's "I Love the Nightlife," I was eager to try something fun with it. I remembered seeing only partially glittered nails on some of my favorite blogs and thought it was the perfect polish to try this look out with.

I really wanted the glitter to pop, so I chose "Ballet Slippers" by Essie - one of my go-to hues that I can always count on to make my nails look classy and sleek - as the base coat. This is how it turned out:




What do you think? I'm much happier with this foray into "nail art" than I was with my crackle topcoat experiment from a few months back. So much so that I'm now on the hunt for any and all things sparkly! I'm also contemplating the one glittery nail thing. Baby steps.
