I actually bought this dress over the summer when my mom came to visit for a weekend. (Of course we ended up in Tyson's Corner.) She called it my "baby doll dress" not only because of its light pink color but, when not belted, it resembles something I probably dressed one of my dolls in as a little kid. You know, those creepy ones with the eyes that closed as soon as you laid them down? Why they freak me out now but didn't then remains a mystery. But I digress.
I love how airy and light the fabric is, which makes it perfect for warmer weather or these transitional seasons when paired with tights and booties. I actually wore it to a DC Fashion Week event (seen here) and promised an outfit post. So there you have it!
To girlify (don't think that's an actual word) the look a bit more, I went with MAC's Tinted Lipglass in Viva Glam VI. Love that stuff!
