Dressing up for fall in a different way

I have always loved decorating for fall and the holidays, even when I was a little kid. Except back then I was more excited to put the fake cobwebs up all around the house for Halloween. Fortunately, I've progressed in my thinking and my taste, especially since this year is the first time Vincent and I will celebrate the holidays as a married couple (yay!). It's also the first time we have our own place together and the seasonal decor is left solely up to us.

We're planning on hosting just a few small gatherings for friends, family and co-workers, so giving our apartment an elegant, warm feeling is key. The pictures above will easily serve as inspiration as I spend hours perusing Pier 1, Home Goods, Michaels, etc.

Have a lovely weekend!
