Pop quiz. What unwanted guest made an appearance while I was snapping these photos?
Answer: A big, ugly rain cloud that decided to elbow out any rays of sunshine that may or may not have been trying to peek through the gray-as-my-shoes clouds.
This has been a pattern lately here in D.C. and, I have to tell ya, I'm not feelin' it. I currently have my fingers, toes and everything else crossed in hopes that this ugly weather moves out before winter is here and we miss the chance to enjoy fall!
Seriously, Mother Nature. I have plans - BIG plans - that include drinking cider, pumpkin picking and visiting a corn maze. Sans rain. Is that too much to ask?
