Georgetown's Fashion's Night Out: Recap!

It has been pouring in DC for a good three days now and, instead of letting up slightly for Georgetown's Fashion's Night Out last night, it only got worse. But despite the torrential downpours, DC fashion's best and brightest still showed up to celebrate.

A few basic observations:
1.) Tons of bright red/pink lipstick (myself included).
2.) Those who were smart (myself not included) swapped out their heels for more waterproof, durable and easy-to-walk-in-a-downpour rain boots. Stupidly, I left mine at home.
3.) There are some really cute umbrellas out there! (Mine broke early on in the night, forcing me to make an emergency purchase in H&M. Unfortunately, my choices were limited.)

I did my best to cover most of M Street - trying to stop at all the Xs on my map. Here are some of the highlights.

This is awesome. iPhone headset attachment that looks like an actual phone.

Before I got yelled at for taking photos. Seriously? Hey, CUSP, don't be so uptight!

My trusty sidekick. Love you.

Did you venture out in the rain to Georgetown's Fashion's Night Out? Where were your favorite spots?

  1. Are you really the only one who's done a recap yet? Sounds like you had a great night!

But...did you buy anything other than what I assume to be a cute emergency umbrella?

    Cheers to another redheaded Alison!

  2. Great night as I must say myself! I hope the said event gave some fashionably promotional umbrellas though.
